The importance of social media in recent years can’t be overstated. It has changed almost every aspect of our daily lives.
Along with a totally new way to receive and share information came thinking, working, speaking, reading, writing, shopping, eating, sleeping, traveling—you get the picture—in totally new ways.
Our work here at the DMV is not immune to this transformation. Social media has undoubtedly changed—and bettered—how we do we do business.
The department’s LinkedIn page will serve as a great new resource for job seekers—we’ll include links to the latest examination announcements and position vacancies for different classifications and locations throughout California.
And our Instagram account will add another new dimension to our social media presence. In addition to tips and reminders similar to our tweets and Facebook posts, we’ll share photos that will tell a deeper, more personal DMV story, with glimpses behind the scenes at our employees’ contributions to 100 years and counting of statewide public service.
